I am taking a break from Wordless Wednesday to share something with you dear readers.

I met a women on BabyCenter who also went thru IVF to have her beautiful baby boy.  We became friends on Facebook and recently she joined in a cause that I couldn’t help but join in as well.  It started out as a FaceBook group Prayers for Chase.  About a little boy from Pennsylvania who was the victim of child abuse at the hand’s of the Mother’s ex-boyfriend (not the father).  This 20-month old boy was severely shaken and had other unspeakable things done to him and he is now on a long road to recovery.

My friend does not know this family, nor do I, but now, being a Mother myself, it has really just touched my heart.  This poor child who could not defend himself against a monster now has endure years of physical therapy just to do things he had just learned to do not a few months before.   It is truly heartbreaking.

My friend recently started an “event” on Facebook to sell Child Abuse Awareness bracelets in honor of this brave boy.  100% OF THE PROFITS earned on these bracelets will be deposited into the Chase Hay Recovery Fund at PNC Bank.

I wanted to share this link to the blog where you can buy a bracelet or two or more.  The cost per bracelet is $3.50.  Some people spend more on coffee each day or a Big Mac.

Here is the link.  BRACELETS FOR CHASE   And here is the link to the Facebook group   Bracelets for Chase Facebook

Please consider purchasing one.  But if you can’t do that at this time, please pass it along to your friends!

Thanks so much for reading this and for your help!

Thank you so much for sharing Chase’s story. He is definitely a brave and strong little boy who has already endured more in his short life than many do in a lifetime. Its impossible not to fall in love with this sweet baby boy. I have gotten to know Chase’s mom through this tragedy and we text nearly every day. I can tell you that this woman loves her children more than life itself and would trade places with Chase in an instant if she could. Thank you for helping spread the word and thank YOU for getting a bracelet! I know that Chase and his family appreciate it very much.
